One score gone wrong.
The confirmed premise of Grand Theft Auto VI centers on Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos and a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida.
The short version
What happens in GTA 6?
Jason and Lucia have always known the odds are stacked against them. When an easy score goes wrong, they are pulled into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida and must rely on each other to make it out alive. That is the official story premise; Rockstar has not published a full plot synopsis.
Spoiler note: this guide sticks to details Rockstar has officially shared and avoids inventing unrevealed missions or endings.
The protagonists
Jason Duval & Lucia Caminos.
Jason Duval
Rockstar describes Jason as someone who wants an easy life, but keeps finding things harder. He grew up around grifters and crooks, spent time in the Army, and later worked for local drug runners in the Keys. Meeting Lucia could change the course of his life.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia learned to fight from her father and has spent much of her life fighting for her family. After time in the Leonida Penitentiary, she is focused on making smarter moves and building the life her mother dreamed of. A life with Jason may be a way forward.
The official synopsis frames the pair’s relationship around trust, risk and survival. See the character guide for the other named people revealed so far.
